Default il6 Advice

Hi all,
If a trans is low on fluid will it course the car to shudder and get hot or would this be another issue.

Just trying to narrow down a problem the old boy has.

It does it on hills too.

regards, Woody

Does it take longer than normal to go from Drive to Reverse and then back again?

OR if the trans cooler -> radiator walls have corroded thru.. ud have trans fluid in the coolant and coolant in the trans..
causing all sorts of nasty fun and games ...

what colour is your coolant?

Mine is doing similer from time to time minus the overheating.
I was pretty confident that it's a spark issue.
Mines got 175 on her so I figure the coil pack
is shagged.

They are some good prices. I was quoted 150 each for the packs yesterday, $150 for the leads (set of 8 plus heat covers?) and $16.00 each plug.

Sounds like you were qouted on that stuff for your 8, if ya did thats pretty good pricing. I paid $325 for leads a couple of years ago and that was trade and I'm sure coil packs can end up expensive..
