Its a the tank that replaces the factory one where you top up the collant. Looks like an egg crate. I assume the stant cap is the pressure cap. Have a look at the link I posted above, it has some photo's.

Not sure. Find out for sure. I think they look great. I would have thought the AU and BA would be the same, but maybe not.

BA is smaller and has a different mounting point. I think the sensor is also different in them.

Good mates with the owner. Even when I rang the PWR workshop (spoke to a guy called Luke) he quoted me $330 + p&h inc the cap. Sounds like your local Repco are making a bit of profit for themselves.

This is the tank. It's a welded alloy replacement for the plastic tank. Stant is just the brand of the replacement cap PWR sell with the tanks.

Here's the reason I replaced mine. Original one was full of cr@p and looked shocking.

If your not wanting to pay big $$$$ try finding a good fabricator to make one up.
I got an expansion tank and washer bottle made for $380, good job too

do you have to take the cap off, or is there some gauge to tell you how much fluid is in there?

I've contacted Jeff from Pole Position to get some prices on a group buy, as soon as I know and if the prices are all good I may try to set something up.

thankyou for the info te50 027.
to answer your question mont5.0, i think you put the original type tank on if you actually want functionality over 'style'.

I enquired at a couple places about this but was told by both that most places won't do them (expansion tanks) as to be legal they have to be pressure tested and be ADR approved. The washer bottle never crossed my mind but I can't see them having to be pressure tested. Wouldn't mind one actually, to match the PWR tank. Any pics?

They have tanks available that fit the coolant level sensor, if you have one. And like Fordon said, the plastic ones fill with brown muck, like mine did, and you can't see diddly squat in them anyway.

This be anthor reason being expensive.

I think I'd like to know how much coolant is in there before it gets to the point of having the sensor show up!

Not 100% sure but I would think so. Being ADR compliant wasn't my reason for getting the PWR tank though. As I said I spoke to a few people first but no-one I know was willing to make one.

I know where you're coming from Aus, but I've had mine fitted for a fair while now and haven't had any probs. Just a weekly check and top up if needed along with all the other fluids and she's been fine.

Sorry but I wont be able to get picks till tomorrow sometime, rode the bike to work instead.
I'm surprised not many would make one up for you, as I would have thought welded alluminium would hold more pressure then plastic, but I wouldn't have clue bout any of that anyway.
As for being ADR approved and legal, well put it this way, it wouldn't be the only illegal thing on my car
