Default AU2/3 centre facia in AU1?

Is it possible to convert my AU1 centre radio facia to an AU2/3? I'm referring to using Forte'/XR parts... not Fairmont...

Apparently size wise it ill fit, but the heater box and air con is all different.

So you'd need a new heater box, center pod and the controls from an AU II/III

I just jacked this info from another thread

Yes I would be interested in any info on this. My thoughts where you would need to redo the vacum hose connections and custom plugs for the ac,rear demist and fresh air.
