a mate of mine hase a TD 250 cid cortina
now the heads have question marks on them the cast iron head are 2v now im a holden fan so forgive my ignorance what are they and are they somthing special (2v) burnz

Im not sure if there are any differences in the combustion chambers or port sizing but a non-2V head has a log type Inlet manifold, cast onto the head and you can only fit a little single throat carb on them. The 2V has a bolt on 2 barrel inlet manifold and so made it quite easy to get some good reliable power out. They are getting rare and people will pay a fair bit for one now days.
