Default sweet car vid, need help on file conversions

hey guys i have just finished putting together a good car vid, the problem is i cant include one of the segments because it is in mpeg4 file format and windows movie maker dosnt read those files?!?!!? i have downloaded conversion files but they havnt worked,
can anyone help? the other movies are in .wmv

can you re-save the file and change the type?
usually you can.
