My wife suprised me for our anniversary and booked us a night at Darling Harbour at the Sheraton. We went to the casino and won a small amount then blew it at a strip club in Kings Cross........ pretty standard stuff hehe

Went over to a mates place on saturday arvo, ended up coming back to my place picked up some of jim beam then got into a abit of gran turismo 4 (typhoon vs gt ) on nurimberg (german track) however its spelt.
Sunday morning started the ute to find the car was sounding right, thought the turbo packed it in luckily enough as it turns out somethings just loose on the turbo so goes into Autotech tomorrow to get fixed so its all good.

Went outside on sat arvo it was minus 10 and blowing 100kph and snowing.... Took 1 step forward and 3 sideways and watched my mate dissappear before my eyes and walk into the side of the house we are in as he thought it was the door and then he went balls up in the snow.

LMAO when we finally got indoors what a wild night.

Went up to adelaide hills to my friends place all weekend and spent plenty of time in the pool and working out what products I need to use to enhance my friends repainted cobalt blue EF XR6 wagon and played babysitter for his gf's kids
Even though the paints new it still had marring in it from quick buffing by the shop.

A top weekend.

I witnessed a hit and run on Sunday.

A busy church had just come out and all these cars were leaving. Anyway this old couple in an Astra stops at a stop sign and this new Mitsu Pajero 4WD (which I was behind) runs straight up its rear. The young bloke in the Pajero (green P's) reverses and then speeds off through a red light.

I got his rego and followed the Astra to a servo. The old couple was shaken up and their Astra was stuffed in the rear - I gave them the rego number and my mobile number, said I would be a witness for them. They didnt really understand (didnt speak much English, this was Greek Church btw), but in the end I think I got through to them to go to the police and give the cops my details. Meanwhile the owner of a cafe nearby came running up and told them that his security camera had caught the whole accident on tape and they could have the tape if they wanted. The old couple thanked everyone and left, but I still haven't heard from the cops, so I got a bad feeling they are not going to report it.

What sort of scumbag does that seriously - they attend the same church as the people they hit! Very noble.

Friday: worked till 5pm went to Junee for a mates Birthday party and played drinking games till 3am. 'tried to hook up' but unsuccessful

Saturday: I was angry with the world for making me drink so much. Played cricket in 37 deg heat. got out on the second ball i faced, it was to bloody hot to play.

Sunday: Up at 5am, cruised over to Canberra with another car load of my mates and played paintball. Hell of a lot of fun.

sunday night: got back home in time to watch my body break out in to welts and bruises.

not only is it a low act but he is also stupid. why even bother to run with busy traffic and everyone watching you. i think if the old couple went to the police they may have just gotten the tape from the cafe

Believe it or NOT

Saturday morning my Son & I were splitting & sawing about a tonne of "fire wood" in the front yard (crazy I know) . We have cut up 5-6 tonne so far , got about another 8 to go ! ! ! But when you got about 14 - 15 tonne in your front yard it takes a hell of a long time to move . (just ask Nitroman how much is there).

Sunday morning , moved the cut wood to the back yard . gotta get ready for winter sometime I suppose. : HOW EXCITING :yeees:

And this is about 1/4 of it . (council cut down the trees in the street & gave it to me , free )

handed over a cheque for my brand new F6 Typhoon at 5.00pm Fri, drove it for a few hours in Adelaide hills. Took my son to compete in a (short) triathlon on Sat. Sun spent several hours driving through the hills around Adelaide.
Good weekend all in all

Oporto's burgers are plain junk IMO. I don't think it's even chicken in there! Nando's ftw.

PS. My weekend started on Thursday night at Next, then Friday at a mates for drinks, two different hospitals on Saturday for family, BANG Saturday night in which someone I know got beaten by the owner (lol) and some girl was spewing all over the street, haha.. Then sunday I chilled, looked for a job and worked on the car a little.. Sunday night, watched dead man (Jarmusch) and ice age two with a mate and some pizza.

Pretty much going to be the same thing this and next week for friends b'days and such, heh.
