Default Motor mania on ABC2 this week

For those of you with a set top box or pay TV, you may want to check out Late Night Legends on ABC2 this week. Usually on from 11:00pm.
Here is the program content for this week:


Week 13, Motor Magic


49. January 29 - Warwick Farm Sedans, 1969
Ian 'Pete' Geoghegan won his 4th Touring car championship in a row, and along with brother Leo proved himself in various conditions on tracks around Australia.

50. January 30 - Formula 1 Grand Prix, 1956, 1958
In 1956, Melbourne staged the first truly international Australian Grand Prix, at Albert Park. Revisit the unforgettable race featuring Sir Stirling Moss.

51. January 31 - Warwick Farm Grand Prix International, 1963
In 1963, the Australian Grand Prix was held for the first time at Warwick Farm. Built in 1960 on an old race course in Sydney's western suburbs, it became Australia's premier track of the 1960s.

52. February 1 - Surfers Paradise Open Wheelers, 1968
1968 marked the 5th year of the Tasman Championship and the event was at its peak with all major teams represented by state of the art machinery and a classy field of drivers, including F1 champ Graham Hill and Scotsman Jim Clark who won the Australian Grand Prix at Sandown.

yeah, saw them last week. was very good. The warick farm sedan races had the big improved production cars (Jane's Camaro, Pete's Super Falcon and Stormin Norms Monaro) and the normal production cars. Very exciting to watch.
