I had a set of KW springs on my car for 2 years, was highly impressed with them, they looked fantastic. They are a German brand and aren't too cheap normally.

Ford Racing springs from the Ford Racing website in the USA (admittedly for Focus) are actually rebranded KW springs and dampers, so they're not only riding on their German reputation, but Ford seems to approve of them in the US, although clearly they're not a factory part and aren't warranty supported.

So in a word, YES, they're good quality and do a great job.

heaps of guys on UKFN use KW. They rate them as one of the best brands on there. But I think KW only makes variant 1 or 2 for the mk6.

http://www.inmotive.com.au/ - australian importer of KW. If your after KW they will have it

Variant 1: Height Adjustable with pre-set dampening.
Variant 2: Height Adjustable with pre-set bound dampening but adjustable rebound.
Variant 3: Height Adjustable with adjustable bound and rebound

KW only make Variant 1 suspension for the mk6 Fiesta.

B4 is a direct OE replacement shock. B6 is harder damping on stock ride height firmness. B8 is suited for lower and harder.

They are taken from the KW and Bilstein euro websites so I'm not sure on the prices but if you take the part numbers to a dealer they can give you that.

Also they are just for shocks except for the B12 Tuning Kit which includes 4 B8 shocks plus matching springs.

thats not the mk6 its the mk5 or 4. mk6 was made in 2001 not 1999. The model you want only gets made in variant 1 for the mk6 "Fiesta incl. ST150 11/01-(JH1,JD3)"

Make your own coilover. You will have height adjustability but set dampening force (You can rebuild some shocks to suit your springs). Springs can also be easily custom made.

Just because a coil over has 1,000 not 24 level of adjustability(in the damper) doesn't make it any better or worse. Its how well spring rate and dampers work together and with your car.
