Just got Exhaust - XR8

Hi all.

Just picked up my XR8 from the exhaust joint. They removed the two big mufflers at the front and put straight through pipe in.
So my exhaust is Headers, Cats, & then pipe from the cats till it gets to the little muffler at the back.

S**t its loud!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cop bait probably....

yeah your not wrong there. Already done it once, chuck in neutral and just purrrrrrr on by lol. How can I post a sound clip? What do you record with?

It'd sound great but I imagine it would drone like all hell at cruising speeds?

I wouldnt mind mine being a bit louder, but I love the note it has now, so Im not going to change it.

When I was last in Orange (around 12 months ago) it was the ricer capital of the universe! Has it changed?

Mate that must be friggin loud without anything between cats and rear can.....
I had 18" hot dogs put where the 2 mufflers were and it sounded just right imo......
Be careful I'm sure you'll get picked up on a night they want to blitz !

Use a digital camera to record a video - then post it on youtube - and then create a hyperlink to it

u can record the sound file with whatever u can record sounds with then upload it at www.rapidshare.de or any other of those audio upload sites then post the link they reveal after u upload,or record a video

It doesnt drone that much, it's not as loud or as bad as you would think having no mufflers up the front, but if you jump on the 'Go' pedal, holy s**t

na, not much. Not as many ricers lapping up and down the street anymore though. Police have cracked down alot in orange. Nevertheless its still buzzbox capital yeah.
