Default fix for mediaplayer displaying videos in wacky colors.

when on youtube or those file storage place's they dont display properly. is it a driver for my pc? or a mediaplayer problem?

I've got this problem too - I think it's Media Player, because using VLC media player it's all good. I tend to have issues with DiVX/XViD files only. I have installed the latest K-Lite codec pack and then the XViD codec separately afterwards.
I'm just going to wait for either Microsoft or the codec programmers to come up with a fix.

change your video accelleration, put it a bit lower it should work then as i had same problem. its under tools>options>performance take the bar down one at a time and try again till it works

this fixed it up, but would it affect other things by changing it? i had to put it on the lowest setting.

no it only reduces how much buffer the program dumps into the memory of the video card(basicaly if were human stops a brain over load)its trying to do to much at once
