Default Differences between BA/BF and FG Turbo Manifolds

Currently doing an engine swap and I was told that the FG turbo manifold was actually shorter and closer to the engine, unlike the BA/BF which is mounted further out. Can anyone please clarify or maybe chuck up some picks would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks but it doesnt help, I know the intake manifolds are different, I was talking about the manifold that the turbo is mounted to. I need clearance to fit it into a XD falcon and if the FG manifold is closer to the engine by about an inch then there is no need to massage the shock tower out to fit it in.

The turbo will sit back about 2" more than the current one if you put the FG manifold on the BA.

As in 2" closer to the block?... If this is the case then the next question is if they are interchangable
