Does anyone know where to get a set of these, or if they come from a limited run of Falcons? http://ssv.com.au/productimages.php?prod=1601&img=2091

Peeps they are actually standard LTD fitted at the time
IIRC some landcruisers/prado's (tomato/tomatoe) had tinted tail lights aswell at some point. You could probably pick up an entire ZK (I think its them, LTD version of ZL?) for $500 these days, tail lights and all

Yeah just found the original look of the car, http://www.xfalcon.com/forum/showthr...Max1mus-FE-LTD. I'll have to look around. You reckon they would fit a standard EF falcon? I dont like the grille and front end of the LTD's

i would have thought they would be the same shell. Maybe not. lol. They had the pic for it under XD and XF on the SSV website for a spoiler. So its a bit misleading. Spose ill go the fairmont style and black it out instead

I'm thinking you mean XF, not EF.
If that is the case, then they might fit, though the angle on the outer corner of the lights might be different.

xf tail lights into an ef shell is like trying to squeeze a square block into a round hole....
WAYYYYY different shape.... just tint shade the standard tail lights as stated above and as i have done... And be creative! dont VN commodore them! (totally black) Do light coats to get an even thin covering as to not dampen the globes brightness too much.. or use electrical tape to mask parts you want to keep bright/clear.. like the clear reverse light section... Here's a pic of mine.. i put LED'S in mine.. tint shades and electrical tape.. |
