Default FG XR6 NA replace crank front seal or no?

Hi guys

Recently I replaced the water pump and belt/tensioner/pulleys on my auto FG MK II XR6 (219,000kms) .. I noticed there is a leak at the crank front seal. The car has a Powerbond 20% underdrive harmonic balancer. It does leak a bit of oil onto the ground but not always. I really dont want to fork out $200+ for the balancer removal tool and a new seal unless its essential

Will it affect engine life ? Should I replace it or just keep an eye on oil levels?

Cheers

Seal is about $20, aftermarket trade. You should be able to borrow or hire the tool for well under $200.
