Lot of effort went into that.

The Delorean is still one very cool car!

What a POS to keep clean, we had one at work a while ago Scratch finish stainless, worst than fridge or stove to clean showed every finger mark on it

Actually it would be illegal to drive that car in Australia, some years ago there was a bit of a trend to rebody jeeps with stainless.

Bums were kicked and laws changed to prevent this sort of stupidity as it is a MAJOR road hazard.

There's nothing dangerous or illegal at all about driving a very clean or shiny car.

The reflection in people's faces behind me, which I can see in my mirror, when the angle of my normal chrome coupe rear bumper causes a beam of light so intense the refraction in my mirror gets my attention - is no less annoying or 'potentially dangerous' than a pollished or chrome plated car.

I have a feeling I've seen this car on the AlsaCorp website in their gallery of chrome paint products and chrome-painted cars, but it may well simply be pollished alloy. Either way - the distracting/annoying/dangerous aspect is one tiny angle for a split second which any chrome bumpered cars can provide anyway. So its not illegal here, its not here anyway, and it looks awesome - for him.

I personally find the crystals and jewel type rubbish people have hanging from their rearview mirror is more annoying when you're following them and it focuses a beam of light straight into your eyes.

This is a work of art, I love it!

Ever wonder why windscreen trim and wipers stopped being chrome plated...

ADR 12 - Glare Reduction in Field of View
The function of this Australian Design Rule is to minimise the glare from certain surfaces in the view of the driver.

I reckon it would be illegal in this country.
