 Australia's Fastest Timed Runway Sprint is back for 2015 Event : Snowy Mountains 1000 What : 1000m Sprint on a Runway When : Saturday, 28nd November, 2015 Where : Snowy Mountains Airport, 1611 Kosciuszko Road, Cooma NSW - 140 entries up for grabs - 100m of hotmix at starting area. - Runway is 2.2km long with 1050m sealed braking area. - Over 13 motels, plus pub/hotel accommodation, camping/caravan parks and B&B's - Approx 1hr south of Canberra - Great viewing areas for spectators - Entertainment for the children - Trade Stands - We will also be running our charity rides again, racing money for the Cancer Council of NSW 2014 times, and current national (and some international) records: http://snowymountains1000.com.au/2014-racing-times/ More entertainment to be confirmed !!!
