Default Sydney Car Festival '05

Well just got home from the 1st day of the Sydney Car Festival. Apart from some abysmal indoors lighting, wasn't too bad a venue for it. Was especially a nice change - being able to view show quality cars inside in a fully air conditioned venue.
A 'LOT' of the usual summernats cars were present (though many were not), a few of the cars that I saw that I hadn't seen on the show scene before included 1 super low candy apple sled, an a nice dayglo orange windsor powered XF.
I watched a few of the U-Turn competitors down on the burnout pad, & got a few 'action' shots (sadly I got there tooo late for the burnouts - & demo by Bray jr)
The highlight of the day for me though was the lad antics with one of the Lukey lasses. She'd wandered over & complimented wifey on how 'cute' lil Jaidyn(9 months old) was in his khaki shorts & ford singlet & asked if she could have a cuddle. Upon handing him over to the young lass, he throws his hands out - REMARKABLY well aimed(I don't think I need elaborate on his targeting sense - use your imagination). With both hands firmly grasping these prized handholds he leant in close & proceeded to shake his head comfortably from side to side letting out a groooowl, much to wifeys dismay, & the accompanying laughter from all that witnessed this, including the young lass herself.

Well - as the front of her shirt read - If it growls, it's a lukey!!!

CAR pics to follow shortly
