A worry? - no more than any other car IMO. Anyhow, you have about $20k out of your budget to throw at it if needed. Lets look at it ... over $200,000 when new. Now, just about a quarter of that price. Hell even my T3s have held their value better than that! And you have to admit that in the performance arena the E39 is still right up there with today's offerings in your price bracket. But the clincher for me would be the drive - there is simply nothing in a four door large saloon that is as impressive/sheer fun to sit behind the wheel of. |
