Default BA XR6 standard ICC.

Hey Fadi, I've had a slight change of plans....I'm able to purchase a BA XR6 ICC that has single zone a/c, single CD player and the small green screen...only set back is that the car has rolled :( .
The real reason for me wanting the XR ICC is to gain the XR blue backlighting so it will match my XR cluster when I fit it.
I have dismantled ICC's before, so would there be anything wrong with me fitting my BA XT single CD player, small green screen and BCM/remote unit to the BA XR ICC so that I can have the blue backlighting AND keep my original parts as well?
If this is able to be done, it should also save me a trip to Ford for a reset as I'll be using all of my original parts inside the BA XR ICC and just retain the circuit boards with the XR blue led's.
Cheers, Linz.
