Some of the guys I know use Benzine to clean their hands at the end of the day still....
A mate of mine who does sandblasting and industrial coatings washes his hands every day in MEK (MethylEthylKetone) or Toluene, whichever he can get more readily... He's 50 odd yo and as fit as a malley bull, I reckon if I did the same today I'd die from cancer tomorrow - just my luck...
