Default Fez / Golf Front side indicators

The old pages from this forum are gone, so I can't go look at the previous threads.

Apparently you can change the side indicators to clear ones from a MkIV Golf 'cos the shape of the light is the same.

BUT, someone told me that the bulb carrier is different or something??? Anyone done it / know the story??

I'm sure this has been discussed before but, like I said, the history is gone...

Thx
