Default Early Xr8 Bonnet Bulge

I'm having trouble proving to my mate that the GT and Xr8 bonnet bulges were changed prior to the release of the ba falcon. If you look at the early ads for ba xr8 utes and sedans aired and printed before their release, the bonnet bulge has a crease at the front, rather than simply tapering down to the curve of the bonnet as it does on any production car I have seen. IMHO I like the look of these early bonnets better, and was dissapointed when the car was finally released. When trying to share my dissapointment with other ford loving friends, they don't know what I'm talking about.....surely someone can tell me if I'm crazy or not....
