probably of no interest to the majority here, but..
As of about an hour ago I became an Australian Citizen : Moved here from NZ seven years ago (as of yesterday), and finally got round to doing the deed.. got sick of having to pay full whack each time I went to the doc, and this was the easiest way to get a medicare card : nah.. I never plan on moving back to NZ permanently (the government has done a good job of screwing the place up), so it was the logical thing to do I suppose Plus now I get to vote, and 'defend our country' ;) my workmates asked if I was going to start drinking VB, wear short shorts and follow AFL... ain't gonna happen :hihi: so thats my lil story, like i said, probably of no interest but thought I'd share anyhoo |
