A quick question about Pinto alternators, I have brought a new alternator for my MK11 Escort and I was supplied a Bosch (BXF1242) and it is clearly not the same mounting etc as the Lucus that can off. But the box and the website clearly list it to suit Cortina 2.0 77-82 & Escort MK11 1.6/2.0 76-81. Do Pinto's come with two different alternators?? If so I guess I will need to source brackets to suit the Bosch alternator as it is not returnable. Any help would be great.
