This had me crying with laughter today. (Rego plate)

This thing (POS) leaky exhaust, sounded like crap turns left onto an onramp trying to smoke and old Pajero... and lost..

Funny as... And the funniest part is, I was in my car... not the truck.. I SO badly wanted to embarrass his dumb ***..

FAIL!

On another cars you don't see... rather than, cars you don't see 'anymore' note...

I saw this AMG Merc turning left from a street in front of me, then he 'hoofs it' and man it certainly hauled ***.

My pic:

I didn’t know if this is worth a new thread but for those that are interested this is a link to an Allan Moffat XA restoration. Definitely worth looking at and interested if anyone knows anything about this. I for one am looking forward to seeing the finished project.

Why?

Remember, there is always someone with a faster car than you!

It might have been slow, but looks pretty tidy. He probably loves it and to him thats all that matters

RE: Remember, there is always someone with a faster car than you!

Yeah, I guess your right. It just comes down to how much money you want to spend to have bragging rights.

The guy I challenged recently in this video:

Had a mad HSV VE Clubsport, freshly built Blown 6.2L, sporting a 'running in tune' making 385RWKW.

It was fun to be embarrassed, all the while knowing that he spent more on his supercharger than I did for my car.

My car feels quick, and for what it is, a stock supercharged 2GR-FE Aurion, it does ok. It's good to be brought back to reality now and then.

Now I'm just getting old disgracefully, and enjoying my 'taxi' for what it is.

Cheers,

Have a great day man.

So that makes 3 confirmed colour options. Totally forgot they made a red one, as I haven't seen one for over 20 years.. that I can remember anyways.

A bit rough around the edges, its missing the fog lamps, but this thing is somewhat unique for two reasons. Firstly, being painted Dash, which was an FG colour that was brought forward to add freshness to the BF MK II in runout. Secondly, the BF MK 2.5 body kit, which included accent colour on the front, rear and side skirts. For XR6 Turbo, XR8 and XR6 with the optional 6-speed auto, you also got accent colour on the 18-inch wheels.

Mate had that exact same color in BF MK2.5 as well, it was a wicked looking color and the accent on the body kit finished it off nicely.

Saw an LV XR5 Focus today on the way home, original rego plates on it, stock as a rock and older driver.

They've become the cheap P plater weapon, usually they're all clapped out and slammed.

On a BF GT, that would be a Cobra or 40th Anniversary?

Doesn’t stop amazing me how many people with nice condition and expensive/new cars take the risk and park in crowded car parks like that. Always wanting as close as possible to the building entrance as well.
I’ve got my $2k AU so am not worried, but before that I’d either go at opening or closing time, or park as far away as possible.

Saw an original yellow Volvo 850 T5R wagon yesterday.
Going the other way so no pic, but coincidentally I was wearing my Volvo t shirt 👌

Nice! I reckon owners of similar often try to park near other examples of rare or classic cars.

One seen regularly for a while in Munno carpark in white, employee car, but that's probably been stolen and rebirthed by now. One car I rarely see anymore on Adelaide roads is the Mk2 RS in any colour, always seems to be plenty for sale having a crack at the price boom which was, waiting for that payday. Love em. The Mk3 is way too common for my taste while a hugely competent car just took the shine off the RS mystique for me..
