I grew up in Charlotte!
I don't remember seeing people walking around carrying guns, though. But if I had to shop in Walmart I'd certainly be more comfortable doing so armed. I hate that place. Wretched hive of scum and villainy.

Me too... Also anyone remember that sports shop in the late 1980s, early 90s which im sure was owned by Greg Chappel? I can recall a huge gun section in there in the store they had in Townsville. Only lasted a few yrs and they closed up.

I was a salesman in the sporting department of Big W back in 1981, and they used to sell a wide range of guns there.
That photo is probably from one of the county areas where they have free carry of pistols as long as you are a licenced and registered owner...the trick being there's no "concealed" carry (ie: hidden under your jacket), it has to be carried out in the open like that woman is doing. I've seen figures that those particular areas have a very low crime rate...for some reason... |

I`m wondering how it would feel to have a pistol on you in plain sight like that knowing everyone can see it, i mean i think you`d feel a bit nervous if you where in a crowd.....lets say shopping centre and people where in your space, surely it would be in back of your mind you don`t have eyes in the back of your head and what`s to stop someone blind siding you and taking the gun?
