Basically it is really dependent on who the mechanic is, but roadworthy items, rust, tire's ect will be checked, and smoke from the exhaust, all light's and indicators, engine number matches the cars paperwork. It is a pretty thorough check, so make sure your car is up to scratch before hand .

Also worth mentioning things like cracked lenses, saggy roof linings and seat belts that are not retracting properly. They will also be looking for oil leaks, 100mm of ground clearance and that your spare is of a good standard.

just take it to the roadworthy dude and ask for a 'pre-roadworthy inspection'.
Then you'll have unlimited time to sort whatever issues he finds.

If your unsure whats checked or inspected, go to a place that does them and ask real nice for a check list
Some places can be thorough right down to checking wheel cylinders for leaks , removing wheels and brake drums to check, some can be a little less thorough |

Just get it checked and if anything needs fixing, you have 2 weeks to do it.
I had a mobile guy do one for me on my WRX a couple of weeks ago. It was a pretty painless process.
