Hey don't knock Dubbo!! lol.

I'd love to enter my car, but it's hardly show material at the moment. I think I'll just be spectating unless I can find some afford some rims before then.

Default All Ford Day - Dubbo Accommodation

Hi Guys, Gals,

In reference to the All Ford Day in Dubbo - I have been enquiring for some accommodation and so far have confirmed that Adam and myself will be attending. We need to get some idea as to how many from the club are coming to the show and what accommodation they require and what days they require the accommodation.

Options -

Travel up on the Friday 23 Sept - Accommodation - Friday, Saturday Night.

Travel up early Saturday morning - 24 Sept - Accommodation Saturday Night.

Accommodation can be from around $65.00 to over $150.00 a double per night. Single accommodation from around $55.00 - $60.00 per night.

What we really need to know how many from the club will be attending the event and what days are you going to require for accommodation. My general idea was to travel up early Saturday morning and return home on the Sunday. It is about a 5 hour liesure run to Dubbo from Sydney.

Any feedback on the above would be appreciated -

Ciao - James

Hi Notty1978 - The only Motel I could find with undercover parking is the Park Vue Motel in Bourke Street - can you advise me if this is a good motel and the location of it to where the event will be held.

I was thinking of heading up for this one, but I'm not sure. When you guys work out your route, i might tag along. Just need to work out some plans for myself first.

Guys, we are double booked at this stage.

There is a joint HSV / FPV display at the macquarie centre (hence the lack of interest here), on the ssaturday. :

The same day, is the Dubbo Show - N - Shine......... :

Will see whay happens, personally i would rather Dubbo, but then there is a day of shyte stirring HSV guys over how quick the new Phoon is :

Decisions Decisions.....

Hi Adam, the Park Vue has undercover parking and seems a clean motel - this will suit me as it is only a place to put my head down for the night and it is opposite the Bowling Club is you feel like a drink. Let me know and I will make a booking for you for the Saturday night - will be $60 for the night.

James

Yeh, pity it clashes but this is the Dubbo's Orana Elite Ford Clubs first Show n Shine event and they come down to a few events in Sydney and Newcastle so I will be supporting them. They really need to have a good show to make it an annual event.

Thanx James. I've never been to Dubbo, so might be nice to get out for a look. But being a night show, not sure how we wil go with the young bloke. As longas we can leave when we want, thats good for me.

I will be making a booking at the Park Vue tomorrow. - they do have family units - large room with double and 2 singles or a double with a single bed for $75 per night. It is close to the venue - you can contact Pam or Kathy at the Park Vue Motel on 02 6882 4253 and mention the FPV Car Club for a reference.

Ciao - James
