A consortium led by David Richards has just bought Aston Martin for $1.2 Billion - which means FPV and Aston stay related - just in different families.....
Bizarre eh? http://www.drive.com.au/Editorial/Ar...eID=36911&vf=2 Lukeyson

I wouldn't be suprised if Ford move the Jaguar brand upmarket and try to use Volvo to fill in behind. That's long been their problem - that Jaguar couldn't get too good for fear of Aston. It was a bit too compressed.
We know the ZF is used in the Aston. Is there any chance the dual-plate clutch is used there too? Lukeyson

Yes Aston do use the ZF, I was only kidding but it would seem like a cheapish thing to do on say the FPV models, im sure there are enough boy racers that would appreciate it. Funnily enough (or scarey) Aston use the T56 aswell.....
