About 45 min ago I had a visit from a member of the nomads M/C, apparently I take off from my drive way to loudly, and scare his kids, they have moved in about 3 weeks ago, 6 houses down from Broadmeadows to Surrey Hills!
He told me that my extractors were to loud, I told him that I've only got a cat back system and he looked at me as if he had no idea what I was on about so I had to tell him the headers were stock. He's a big guy and basically threatened me with a "we look after owe own and our problems", I told him to report me to the EPA or the cops and his reply was “we don't deal with the pigs and this is your one and only warning”. He made it a point to wear his "NOMADS M/C" jumper and mention it at least 3 to 4 times that this is my only warning, I told him that I'm sorry for scaring his kids, and he instantly said "what me kids have been through is nun of your business!" he then pointed hi finger at me and said "take a different way out of the street, you've been warned" and then left.

Make sure that you report his visit to the local police. Make sure that a written report is made. Then put your head between your knees and....... you know the rest.

Just a thought, invite a a few rival MC members for a ride in your car, and then have a BBQ with free beer... stand back and watch the action (before you do this have full home, household and life insurance)...

To the OP........ i dont know what i would do in your situation, cause the bloke sounds very unreasonable and is really abusing his power unto you when you dont really seem to have done much wrong.... unless of course you are flying down the street everday with w.o.t. Like someone mentioned b4.... i thought bikies modified their Harleys to shake the ground when they drove past...... |

Like Outback said. Its a should do and the information will be entered onto their information database.
My facists male mucho side would have put the arrogant swine down for the count, problem then is his dental bills, and his boyfriends would later visit. Regardless, for SOME REASON, right or wrong -he does not like how you depart your residence and you've come under notice for that. IF you are noisy or a cowboy, just don't be, or you will wear it. Do you live alone? Quote:

Tell him to get farked. Report it to the police so they know about him. That way if something happens then you have a backup story to support your claim.
I got a new pipe on my SV650, Ill come around early and wake people up if it helps :P

few years back i was trying to drive up the hume hwy, campbellfield, there were two nomads in my lane infront of me, doing 40km/h on purpose to **** me and everyone off.. then one went to the middle lane to stop that lane of traffic too.. they're just a bunch of tools. Like most mid life crisis bike clubs.

tools or not the hero's on here dont have to live in same street, mate you dont want them as friends or enemies, just leave well enough alone and drive the long way around if you need to,just be polite and dont drive past his house loudly.

Seriously though, this is not a problem you need to feed. BJ gave some good advice, to be honest, if I were in the same situation I would motor in and out of my street in a low key manner. I'd make a point of driving past his place and give him a wave every other time as you go by. Odd's are he'll wave back after a few trips. Last edited by GTP006; 14-02-2007 at 12:16 AM. |

an example of the opposite situation is my best mates place, my ex hairdresser (he use to work at home) that lives down the road from my best mate and one night came over to my mates house and started abusing him over "all us boys" making to much noise in the street, if he was polite about it fair enough but he was a real b4stard about it... You know what he copped in the next week? exactly 6 MASSIVE seperate trenches in his front lawn within around 3-4 days. :evil3: so my advice, if he wants to be a nice bloke, respect him and drive appropriately in your street. If he's a tool, trench his lawn so it looks like 'nam. Worked for us. Haven't heard from him since. : |

Just report it to the police ASAP and try to stay out of his way. The risk is that it is may not even be your car that is frightening his kids but he will blame you anyway and something will happen to your car and/or you.
In the longer term think about moving to a bikie free suburb.

Jeez his kids must be little wimps to be scared of a car taking off down the street, there would no doubt be much louder things happening than a GT with a catback zorst, like his harley for example
Probably more scared because he belts them when they ask him to play barbie and ken outside. He seem to hint that his kids may of been subject to some harsh stuff, I bet only due to his activities or contacts |

I would have a chat to police. There is not much they can do, but ask the member to put in an IR (Information Report) on the incident. This way the relevant sections of Vic Pol will get the info. Also once documented if you had to take any sort of action to defend you or your family at least you can summons that police member as a witness.
I don't allow anyone to intimidate me. Had a similar situation when I lived in Lara. This time though an outlaw bikie gang member had an old Torana which he would start up 5am each morning and sit and idle for ever and wake the whole street up, so one day, obviously well before my current employment, I got my series one AU XR8 ute, minus half the exhaust, and made a statement. Afterwards, I parked it, he came out, looked like straight from his bed, I just calmly waited. He walked back in, moved out not long after. ( I would not recommend this course of action)

Good luck mate, and no I would not be taking peoples advice off here, none of them live with you or your family. some things are best left alone.
