Just wondered what you have beaten in your cars - it doesnt matter what your car is just dont talk about your lawn mower or push bike.
Example - BA GT vs HSV Gts or something like that. And yes I know - we dont race on the streets as it is illegal and dangerous, so lets call this theoretical....

I've had a couple of good scalps in my XR. Nothing remarkable but enjoyable none the less.
1. VS HSV Clubsport manual (215i - appeared pretty stock). Gave him a run at Calder, expected to lose but ran side by side to half track and then drove away from him.. I was shocked. (XDC351 witnessed the whole thing) 2. VR/VS? SS Manual Sedan (definatly had exhaust, not sure what else). Heathcote. Lined him up, beat him. He wasnt happy so we went around and we lined up again... this time it was a serious heads up run. THUMPED HIM! He parked the car and didnt race again that day.. he actually left not long after. 3. AU3 XR8 220 auto - 100% stock... Heathcote. It was damn close, nothing in it. Apparently my lane just got the win. (to be honest, it was the owners first day running it and if we lined up again now... he'd hammer me, no doubt). Still... a win is a win. None of these were 'default' wins where the driver totally stuffed up, all were pretty fair and decent runs.

Numerous R31s and E-series at Heathcote :P
Otherwise when I've been at Calder I always seem to race cars that are a couple seconds quicker. |

Apart from that, in all the runs I have done the list is pretty long but I am just glad my car kicks a stock XR6T now.

I was Sitting on 190kph acouple of years back in my XD and came op behind a VU SS , over took him and as I did he treid to keep up so I went a bit harder till i was ahead and and stayed at that speed. ended up over the 220 mark for a bit till i lost sight of him and slowed back to 190 again! Had to slow down to 80 to go thru towns , but I used a full 70 liters to travel 315 klms . Damn that was a good drive ! The old XD is a bit thirsty at those speeds ! 1 hour 45 mins from Kathrine to Darwin is not to bad huh ?Gotta love them open speed limits !

Guys, we will not allow any street racing stories on the forums. If you haven't beaten anything at legal off street drags then don't bother posting here.
