Default Tomago Show N Shine - Camp Quality

Hi All,

I am sure all of you are aware of Camp Quality (Kids with Cancer) and what they do. :1syellow1

http://www.campquality.org.au

We have being invited to the Tomago Show n Shine, which is a fundraising day for Camp Quality.

The show is on Sunday 21st August.

Cost of entry is $10 to pay early, or $15 pay on the day.

There will be numerous car clubs present, and thee is a trophy list with over 40 categories!!!

For those that don't know, Tomago is up near Newcastle. :Up_to_som

Being a show to raise money for Camp Quality, i am sure we can all put in a BIG effort to make this a BIG display for them. :voldar02:

There will undoubtedly be a cruise up there for the show, details of that will come soon.

Put your name down, and make this a big display to show our support :Reverend:

The registration form and further details can be found on the club website in the events page.

www.fpvclub.com
then go calendar.

Cheers!

Default Good Cause

:

Hi all.

I'd just like to encourage everyone to take part. It's a great way of raising money for a very good cause.

Most of us do some type of club event on most weekends, so it certainly a good excuse to get out of the house.

The GT owners of Newcastle who are organising the event, have had a steady increase in the number of cars displaying, with approx. 290 cars on display last year.

They raised in the order of $8000.00 !!!

I look forward to seeing as many faces up there as possible.

Just go put your name on the list. Easy as that.

www.fpvclub.com - then go to Calender. :1syellow1

Hi Scott, not a bad day and some really nice cars on display. Got a bit windburn but apart from that it was a great day with heaps of money being raised for Camp Quality - If anyone is going to Dubbo for the 24th - remember it is the start of the school holidays so I would book your accommodation asap. Details on the time and meeting for the Saturday run up to Dubbo can be found on the events forum.

Ciao - James

It was a great day except for the chilly wind. As the sun got higher the heat picked up and offset the chill factor a little. I think over 300 cars turned out for the event. Ill get final figures that is getting donated and post it up. Thanks for supporting the day and hope to see you there next year.

Does anybody have an accurate idea of what cars won the awards? I know best club display was our club but I only remember that for obvious reasons, otherwise I was having a chat and missed most of the awards.

Im proud of the turnout our club put on. Out of a club of somewhere around 50 cars we had around 25-30 GT's ranging from the xr to the eb and some cobras and a John Goss special thrown in.

Hey guys,

I was there at the show with my nissan. I was in the "pack of rice" which some of you overtook us on the freeway on the way up. However my car only has mags and lowered (and no, its not a lancer/mirage) but I was told to enter it into the show anyway because it raised money for charity. Some very nice cars there I must say. Good work guys!
