Thinking of getting a XC coupe in need of total resto. Suppose to be complete.
I am a big fan of originality but in this case I'm not sure. Obviously not a GT & not a rally pack. So it is something I could have fun with. Just wondering as it is nothing special whether to restore to original or do a Cobra copy? As I am getting old it would be sold somewhere down the track so which do you think would have the better sale value? Thoughts?

I like the look of your Avatar Coupe more than a Cobra copy.
Cobra copy maybe better resale? Paint it blue, and white vinyl the Cobra design on top. ( or white paint/blue vinyl). Next owner can remove the vinyl ?? Good luck with it |

Go the original style it saves having to answer the question a million times when your out "is it a real one" a mate of mine has an xy gt replica and that is the only question he ever gets asked. But in the end your car your call.

How about a aussie flavoured bullett special or an Eleanor?

Don't expect to get your money back for non-reversible variations from factory down the track. |
