Bumpers Australia
38 Maryborough St Fyshwick ACT 2609 Phone: (02) 6280 4242 They done a great job on my XT bumpers and will do change over if they have something in stock. I got the "show bars" which they spend a bit more time on, was only something like an extra $20. |

From memory chrome plating isnt as good as it used to be because the chemical they use is now banned, however IIRC it was still available in canberra.

Ah, now; perhaps someone can clear this up as I was under the same impression. I have been told that the bonding layer or copper layer is either not used or a different compound here in NSW, although it is still used in VIC (and perhaps ACT) and chrome platers from these states give better longevity as a result. Can anyone confirm or debunk this? Have I (we) been misinformed?
