You cant blame the reff for that pathetic performance, the selectors need to have a good hard look at them selves and pick on form like NSW did, Prince has to be in game two.
We will bounce back for game two.

I agree with you to an extent, sure, if the reff didn't make those ridiculous calls, we still probably would have lost. If Locky isn't ready by game 2, (most likely) then i think Price should go to Five Eight, Hunt to Fullback, and send Slater packing. Without Locky we seem to lack structure, guidence and Motivation when its needed most. Cameron Smith should get a good talking to, and Johnno should be more of a leader is Lockies absence. NSW played well, but i think we helped them by attacking like Under 9's Juniors.

I hope this doesn't start another spate of NSW dominance. QLD only think State of Origin is relevant when they win, when they string a couple of losses together, all of a sudden it's, 'no-one cares about State of Origin' anymore.

Har Har - QLDers love to dish out torment but are the first to sulk into the beer they are holding before the end of the game, pull up their skirt and leave the room with a swiftness

I had a ball at work last night stirring up not only co-workers but customers

I honestly don't follow the game and couldn't care less who won or didn't but it was to much of an easy target to keep calling out 'Go The Mighty Blues'.... I was told I was going to get slapped by a customer if I kept it up which of course made me worse....
Oh and everyone was rather quiet when the Blues actually won.

Was asked why on earth would I support NSW when I lived and worked in QLD and I simply said because everyone else was barracking for QLD and NSW are Blue which is the colour of FORD (not to sure what anyone thought of that explanation but hey, works for me) :

I'll be the first to admit that Qld did not play very well last night. And maybe, maybe they deserved to lose. Slater and Cam Smith should be canned for the next came as they did nothing for the game, nothing at all.

But the ref should have worn a blue jersey. The calls he made were so swayed towards to blues it wasn't funny. But this didn't help the crap game Qld played.

It would be nice to have an impartial ref for once.... just once.
