Im glad NuMetal was kept at a distance from more tradtitional Metal. It will be a cold day in hell before some of todays crap will be recognised as metal.

I always enjoy 'The Lead Break' on Cruize Radio, every Sunday from 12 noon to midnight. I can hear 12 hours of Rock, Metal, & Modern Blues, without any other styles in between.

[another shameless plug]

I picked Electronic : Hardcore techno/gabber (200bpm-1000bpm), trance, breaks etc followed by Hip hop/rap/murder rap followed by metal : death, thrash, black, gore grind, heavy. Not always necessarily in that order.

By the same token I'll quite happily listen to classical or cheesey pop top 40 stuff....

Just keep me clear of country and over the top goth stuff.

Anything except rap, pop, and some hip-hop.

So pretty much anything that is played using real instruments with the exception of dance/trance/techno, which I don't mind.

Screw the single answer poll, can someone make it multiple?

Hmmm anything from pumping drum 'n' bass, breaks, hard/dark trance... House, acid jazz... Some hip hop. A lot of rock/alternative...

Pretty broad, but I can't stand most of the "r and b" produced in the last decade or so.

I like Classic Rock (Led Zeppelin's my favourite band, also The Who, The Rolling Stones, Deep Purple etc)... the newer stuff I like is well.. not that new anymore... Guns 'n' Roses, Whitesnake etc. Also like some "alternative" rock. I also listen to Serbian pop, Serbian rock and Serbian traditional music.

I hate rap, RnB, hip hop, techno, Black/Death/Goth metal and any of that crap that's all about death and satan. I also hate new "modern" dance music..

Almost everything made these days I don't like.

Yep, I'd agree with that.

If a pub band played it, I usually like it.

I hear you. I don't know what to tick.

There are too many genres to break them all down into 10 groups.

I'm going to pick one.... I guess it will have to be hard rock. But that is a lame answer..... :S

Needs more broader options in the poll, some of those categorys could have been put in one big one.
