My lovely partner is buying a brand new fiesta.. she was told on monday that a fez in the colour tonic wouldnt be available untill January.. the sea grey and "Ocean" - replacing Jeans Blue will be available in November..

To me this waiting time seems alittle hard to take.. i thought only the XR5 was hard to get... talk about insane.

How long did you have to wait for your Brand new Fiesta??

I waitied 1 month for mine.

Luke

well i can probably explain why its so hard, i just got PF (performance ford) in the mail this arvo, was reading an article about how Fez and Focus sales combined are up 61% compared to 2005 it has reached its highest sales since 1999.

also i waited 2-3 months for myne, cause i ordered a whole lot of **** on it, basically the body kit and rear spoiler, apparently ford germany had to do sumthing blah blah blah is all i got from the dealer. but it was worth it.

"Ocean"......what's it like Luke, I just had a look on Ford Aust Website, no mention of it on there, is it similar to the Jeans Blue?

Ocean is quite similar to Jeans Blue - Dark kind of colour with bluey sort of look..
Its somewhat hard to explain a colour :s

We didnt want a dealer stock item as they have usually been demo cars while waiting to be sold..

Probably not. Ex demo's will be clearly advertised as such. The dealer probably has a few new ones at there yard that are straight off the boat, more or less.

I waited for about 3-4 weeks... but it was available after 2 weeks, but I was in Tassie and couldn't get it for the Melb dealership.

I want to know what this "ocean" looks like.

I only had to wait a week or so. They managed to get the rear spoiler painted and fitted, windows tinted in that time plus pre-delivery. Nice and easy and that was late last year when they were in runout of the WP..and I got the colour I wanted. Very happy.

I waited 4 weeks for the car + 2 more weeks in an LX loaner while they sorted out some suspension issue on the new Zetec.
