Default EB to EF

Out of interest... My EF Tickford powered EBII GLi is now up and running. The engine fitment itself didnt pose any problems though getting the Timing correct did... distributor had to be removed and refitted some 6 or more times before she wanted to fire. The car is running the EF BBM type manifold and serpantine belt conversion. Gearbox is EF1 4 Speed BTR Auto, Diff is Stock 3.23 EB Single wheeler. Its also got Thermo Fans running off a Davis Craig thermo Fan controler. Rides on Pedders Superlow Springs and Struts all round and sits on EF FTRs Interior is EB2 XR6.

After driving it for the 1st time i can say im very happy with the way the car feels and runs I must throw out a BIG thankyou to Wayne (Aka LTDHO) for all his assistance and putting up with my Stupid questions, Though, i have learned an Awful lot

My Other Ride is a 1989 NA Series Fairlane running an EF GLi 4.0 and EL 5 Speed Manual box sitting on ED Sprint 16's

I will post up a Few pics tomorrow arvo of Both Cars including Engine Bays

It was great to finally go for a spin in it (although still missing bonnet) yesterday. Very smooth, doesn't feel like an EB!

The timing issue had me stuffed, I've never spent so much time on setting timing. I'm loosing my touch. :/

Nudge, ya have to bring it to the next meet!!
