Default Snoop Dogg Trying For Aussie Citizenship

What do you think? Publicity stunt or genuine want to live down here?

There's videos of him on the site, and I still don't know what to make of it. Although, he has some very interesting things to say, such as:

"I'm movin to yo hood, so get the girls ready coz here i come. And put on a barbeque, coz snoop is here to stay"

"I wanna come over here and slow it down, and enjoy the women"

http://www.myspace.com/voteforsnoop is where you can see it all. Personally I think its more of a stunt than anything, either that or he's trying to get out of America for one reason or another.

They won't even let him in the country. What makes him (or anyone else) think that he could get citizenship then?

Caz then he wouldn't need a visa to come to aust. If it works it'll be well worth it for him, he's loosing tens of millions not being able to come down to aus atm.

The immigration department wouldn't grant him a temporary visa to visit Australia. What makes you thing the same government department would even consider giving him citizenship?

Didn't he get his tourist visa application knocked back when he wanted to come here for the MTV awards ? Doubt whether he'd get citizenship then.

By moving from the States to Aus he'll raise the average IQ of both countries!

Wasn’t it one of your ex prime minsters that said this?

You really shouldn’t use other people’s quotes without giving them some credit.

I always thought it was a general saying used between two countries, didn't know it was first said by a Kiwi Prime Minister! :togo:

Piggy Muldoon said it first I believe. He thought he was very clever.

You’ve got to be taking the p**s. Robert (piggy) Muldoon was the one that come up with that famous quote, but you already knew that. :hihi:

Edit: Outback Jack beat me to it by 2 minutes. :hihi:

check the blokes rap sheet from the 80's,and then say he isn't a real gangsta.back when nwa was making songs about f+%k the police, and he was up for shooting people.
what he lived in,makes us all look like nuns.no i am not a supporter of his,but i remember when he started out,and he is one of the few who made a boat load of cash out of it,and also lived,or didnt end up behind bars.his videos were the orginal reason stuff gets blurred in them.most guys in them were wanted or convicted killers, and mtv and the like werent able to show it uncensored.
no he doesnt want to move here,he is just testing people power,by using his popular image.we as a general "we", made this type of person cool to look up to.again no i dont support the man,but good on him for beating the system.

I don't need to see videos, I know exactly who he is.

It's a ploy. A legal manouvre. A way of trying to get around the fact that he isn't allowed into Australia.

His bulls**t, so-called 'Street Rep', may make him some kind of friggin' hero in the hood, but as far as I'm concerned he's just another no-talent ****er who hasn't had an original creative thought in his entire life.

Rappers are nothing but oxygen thieves.
