Hi All can any one help me decide weather to convert my au 11 6 clinder xl manual Ute to duel fuel . i all ready have a Auto AU Fairmont Ghia on lpg and have not had any problems but the Gas manuafatoir has said there is a possability of back fire with the manual when the engine is under load( eg in third gear insted of second ) . Has any one had any problems or know of others that have had these sot of problems ??????? :

my au2 ute is a factory lpg and i havent had any troubles like that when its under load but a aftermarket conversion may be different i wouldnt know

Are you swapping ECU? What gas system do you have, VSI or Mixer?
Perhaps if you post in the LPG forum, somebody might know.

If your running gas , you should really have the metal pcv valve and the spring type airbox lid clips, then if you get a backfire you shouldn't run into any problems . cheers.
