I like your combo.Mine is grouted filled block, .030 over,eagle 4.00" 4340 crank, lunati 6.125 billet rods,custom je 15.0.1 pistons, 2 bolt, crank girgle, custom sump, custom crow roller cam, comp lifters, romac balancer, acell dizzy, msd crank trigger, rons "Flying Toilet". Heads and intake are next. Looking at chi 225 runner heads. I like your use of roller cam bearings. Exspensive?

i got the block of a guy that done the grout roller bearings and lifter bores and its a genuine 4 bolt with billet caps..so i'm not sure of the cost, i picked up the block for $2000..

My understanding of the 258, was that they are best used on a 4.125 bore block, say a dart, and that they are more suited to hi rpm. I only want to turn mine to around 7000-73000, But your advise will be very valuble, as I dont want to buy the wrong head, and waste money

i think the 225's are a excellent head a few guys have got them.. as for my choice i did alot of research asked a few guys asked the guy that done my 4v's and thats the outcome we came up with.. i also turn my engine to 8000-8500 valve float is 9000..
go to the thread alloy heads for clevo, and there is some great advice in there,i started the thread when i was trying to decide |
