Default New Terrorist Attack

its seems now terrorists are targetting airports
the picture clearly shows how the terrorists messed with the plane (qantas) and making the plane run off the runway...
truly a sad day.

Even though this is meant to be a funny thread, folks were coming back from Melbourne to Brisbane, and had a bomb scare in each airport.

Was a bag in Melbourne, package in Brisbane.

Would you prefer that she was aboard the plane when a bomb went off that was carried by another 50 year old woman that wasnt checked because of the fear of impinging her civil liberties?
She has an option to avoid the scrutiny of security officers, Don't fly.
Regards,
Tote

Yep Tote is right. Women are suicide bombers too. If these new laws are goin to effective at all they cant discriminate against different types of people.

If you have watched the news recently you would of seen the tape of that bomber walking into that place in Bali. If they had not had him highlighted he would not of stood out to me.

well the bomb would have already gone off because she got searched leavin the plane....
no she doesn't have an option...its not as simple as that...random searches are rediculous....maybe if these security officers did there jobs properly...u can't hide a bomb is ya a%%hole...i mean common sense should prevail in who they search.they were checkin her for weapons anyway...not a bomb...
the day someone slips onto a plane with a bomb the size of somthin u can fit in ur pocket is the day every single person will be searched...sounds great

Someone already slipped onto a plane with a bomb in his shoe. C4 is plastic explosive. The possibilitys are endless. You can fit a mobile phone into your pocket and they have been used to conceal bombs before too.

A bomb can do more damage in an airport terminal than in a plane

I fly about 30-40 times a year for work.. I'm happy to be searched and find it reassuring to know that security is working.
