Hi Guys,
after two years of carefree motoring I had my timing belt changed . The garage that did it along with a few other little jobs left the abs sensor out of its housing, anyway it has been rubbing on the inside of the wheel and shorted out, causing the abs, traction control, and cruise control to stop working ! The garage have washed their hands of it. My question is does anybody know where I can get one of these, second hand. Also how the hell do you get the CD player out, as its showing 'Drive Error' I'm in Brisbane and the Gold Coast area. Thanks in advance ! Last edited by Rossi7; 18-09-2015 at 12:50 PM. New ABS sensor from Ford if i have the correct on has a part number of 3M5T 2B372 DA and is roughly $65..
To remove audio player, see steps below. it could also be the stacker in the boot also?? Fit in reverse order... |

Awesome , Thanks GTLEGEND ! I'll have a crack at it this weekend.
Also I got told the ABS Sensor would be over $1500 , as it comes as a complete unit electronic and mechanical, I'll double check this ! |

No problem, the part number provided is for the front sensor, there is another for the rear. I am guessing the $1500 was referring to the ABS module/pump itself at that price...
Let me know how you go!! |
