So I just picked up a 2014 (2013 build date) mondeo wagon LX povo trim, 2ltr turbo diesel.
Im looking to do a full stereo system in it. Im just wondering if anyone has upgraded the front and rear speakers in these, im looking at putting 6.5" splits in front, and 6.5" 2 ways in the rear doors. What are the stock speaker sizes, and will I need adapters to put 6.5" drivers in the doors. Any help much appreciated |

Assuming it has the standard Sony Audio system there are 9 speakers in total using Ford method of counting but that's 5 to the rest of us (dual cones in the four normal position plus one single cone in the instrument panel).
The 4 door speakers are 6.5", some models also have 4" A-pillar tweeters (but not yours) and the instrument panel speaker is also 4" I believe although premium sound models (which had it too) might have got a 6.5" in that position as well.
