Default Imagine if... we all stood around the camp fire having a yarn

After many conversations red, I got to thinking, as ya do, about how many stories could be shared, explored, and perhaps even thought about, after the event.

I think it's about time, to put a face (and a ride) next to the usernames that are sharing their thoughts.
Call it a meet and greet with a LARGE fire in the background (the smoke and crackle, pop and cracks of a good ol ye bonfire).

Your place or mine?

I don't live on a property, so my place is out. I don't have firewood. I DO have many conversations, and so has my partner.

Put your hands up for:
  1. A bonfire
  2. A chat
  3. sharing stories
  4. meeting new folks
  5. reminiscing about how fast it was
  6. How you beat the other guy in his new xyz thing
all the while forgetting about how old you have become, and how you got there.

Hit me back, south oz viewers, or other interstate viewers willing to travel.
I miss doing this. Social interaction. To much screen time impairs the soul.

Not all that long ago we actually did what you’re suggesting for real!
Twas at the annual AFF Queens B/day drag weekend at Heathcote! Members travelled from far and wide, some incredible cars, many campfires, many beers and some fantastic racing! Unfortunately Heathcote Park got sold, new owners got greedy and our much loved event was no more!
Maybe one day again?

Australian Magna Club, believe it or not did several Annual National meets. Well NSW, Vic & SA put them on & were surprisingly popular.
Weekly state meets were a thing too. Did a lot of group work days on each others cars, drives, meals & Go-carting etc.

I guess, alternately One Man could organise a group from SA to visit the All Fords day in Geelong.
