Hi guys. I have an intermittent problem with the reverse camera on my 2015 MD Mondeo.
First thing of a morning when I put the car in reverse the camera works OK but after I drive for a few kilometes and then put it in reverse the camera does not work. I get a message on the centre display that the camera is not working and to contact the dealer. If I stop the car, turn off the engine and open a door then start the car again and put it in reverse the camera works again. Has anybody here had the same problem? How can I fix it? sounds like a wiring is good as its does work i'd bet the camera itself is dying

Hi there BLACKVE and other Mondeo users.
I purchased a new reverse camera from AliExpress for $40.00 and replaced the original one on Sunday and it works brilliantly, even better that the original one because it is a fisheye type and I can now see more. All the display lines are still there. Thanks for the advice. |
