This was the last time it was heavily pruned, it was the final job my trusty PK Ranger did before it was traded, I didn't wan't to scratch my new ute!

my Dad pruned his roses with a chain saw, my uncle was president of a local NZ rose group and could never understand how Dad got such blooms.
I would have thought you would mulch & compost all your prunings.
