With FPV being discontinued, if any of the last falcons wears a GT badge and a Ford badge, like the XYs etc. (not 'FPV') I'd say that could reduce the value of the FPVs - because they won't be the last of the 'true' Ford GTs.

I could see them just having the XR8 but having a limited/top of the line variant called the GT just as a final cash grab. Nobody said that there wouldn't be a GT without FPV - there never used to be FPV when the 'real' GTs were first getting around.

There's GT mustangs, so why not have a GT falcon again.

GT is just such an iconic badge - to Ford, forget FPV - that I could see them wanting to milk the last few bucks out of it.
