Is there a reason you use a commercial washer? Initially I thought it might be because the cover is so large, but I reckon it would not be that different in volume to a queen or king size bed linen load, which would fit into my washer comfortably.
I initially struggled to fit them into our washing machine, so was taking them to a laundromat, they are quite large and made from a heavier weight fabric. The last time I washed them, I run them through the machine at home. I do this every 6 months or so.
