Thanks for the thought - it is solved now..

100% certain the factory leak was never fixed, the dealer covered it up with sealant, eventually that failed -> slow leak and rust.

Had it ground back, treated with rust converter, painted, new windscreen fitted, no more leaks.

Gutted that we had this ongoing trouble because of some cut corners.
