is this group in your area? https://www.facebook.com/groups/1772288443074377

i'm sure if you made a post in there saying something like, does anyone between the age of 20 and 50 want to catch up once a month for a walk or coffee etc (or whatever else you want to do that's acceptable to post on a facebook page)
you'd get some takers.

what's wrong with being the leader of an event? say I have every Tuesday spare between 5pm and 6pm for a local walk or whatever.
can help with assembling things or testing out your appliances for safety etc.

this is the best way to meet many people you don't have to see again if you don't want to.

you can't catch up on life without going back in time. just start doing things you enjoy and either find ways to make more money or spend less money.
if you like driving your car, you need fuel and repairs.
if you like riding your bike you don't need fuel and repairs are minimal for the time spent.
